Commonwealth Games 2022 News Update: India has got seven medals in weightlifting. On day four Harjinder Kaur won bronze medal in 71 KG women’s weightlifting category. Now Punam Yadav is currently second in India’s first gold medal event in the 76kg category. India has won total 9 medals of which three gold, three silver and three bronze medals.
Punam Yadav, a weightlifter is currently second in India’s first gold medal event in the 76kg division. India will be looking back at history after a successful fourth day as they attempt to win a gold lawn bowls medal in the women’s fours event. In the final, they will be facing South Africa. India will be looking to add another gold medal to their collection when the Indian badminton teams faces Malaysia in the Mixed Team final. In the gold medal match, Singapore will play the men’s table-tennis team. Saurav Ghosal, a squash player, will take on Paul Coll from New Zealand in the men’s singles semi-final. Satyajit Mondal, a man of artistic gymnastics will compete in the men’s vault final. Saif Sadak Tamboli in the parallel bars finals.

Vikas Thakur (Men’s 96kg) and Usha Bananur NK (women’s 87kg) will also be in action. India will face England in a match in hockey’s women’s pool A. Rohit Tokas, a welterweight boxer, will be taking on England in a match of 16-16. Srihari Nataraj, a swimmer from India, will be trying to make it to the final of the 200m backstroke men’s race.
